Moot’s Excellent Adventure
June 27th, 2008 at 07:01pm Cherry Magic Sheryl
Moot climbed into my luggage for the trip west. Smuggling an alligator through airport security was a lot easier than one would think. Perhaps they’d heard of her. Getting her into a restaurant was considerably more difficult. She startled a scream out of the waitress when she climbed in through the window.
Once inside she shared a drink with Me. Note the two drinks. Hence the fuzziness.

From there she hung out with Cerise and waited for Louis to come pick up the popcorn maker.
She claimed to have made this sign for the airport but I’m sure I saw OH’s hands in there more than once.
She also helped GP with Merry’s garden.
but that was exhausting work and she required a little more energy.
Scope found some snack food for Moot down at the market
but she was more interested in Tanji’s Sweet potato treat.
The dog refused to share so Moot wandered of to discover why someone would wrap a tree.
I never did hear the answer to that one.
There were plenty more adventures that wonderful weekend in Oregon but as time wore on, and her energy wound down, Moot found a sign in the mountains that it was time to go home.![]()
This just found in Scope’s purse. A self-portrait Moot drew depicting a lovely lunch at McMinimins. Weebils wobble but they don’t fall down.

I have a lovely portrait of McBoss overseeing the craft table(the crafts are not visible which means BCB will not have to avert her eyes). If we can convince her to show her profile here I’ll post it. Otherwise we’ll have to wait until the group photo sharing. Let me assure you, it’s priceless.

What beautiful photos! Especially loved the one of the wolf — dang you BCB! Shakes fist — I mean the one of the beautiful German Shedder Dog. (Not to be confused with the German Cheddar Dog, which is usually found next to the Corn Dog in County Fairs.)
3. Scope Dope CherryBomb | June 28th, 2008 at 8:15 am
Great Moot adventure. Looks like she had almost as much fun as me.*
4. jenb | June 28th, 2008 at 9:13 am
Will Moot be wearing a kilt for his Scotland adventure?
CMS, great photos!
Hard to believe that just a week ago we were in Portland thinking about getting ourselves together to invade Powells. Always wanted the great times to move much slower and the awful times to fly.
5. BCB | June 28th, 2008 at 2:05 pm
Ahh, pictures of wildlife. Amazing how well trained that wolf is — must be intimidated by all that fist shaking.
So, I’m at work and I just got a call from my DS. He said, “Mom, you got a postcard from Portland, OR and it says something like help, send bail money.” I burst out laughing and he said, “Do you even know anyone in Portland?” So I stopped laughing long enough to say, “Yes, it’s probably from my friend Mary,” and started laughing again. He sounded Very Concerned when he asked, “Why is she asking for bail money?” and I said, “Nonono, it’s okay. It’s a joke.” He was quiet for a while and said, “Why would she joke about something like that?” I said, “It’s a long story.” Another silence. “Mom, you are so weird.”
And then it occurred to me to wonder — did all of the CBs make it home safely? There were an awful lot of you. Did we account for everyone? No one ended up in jail, did they?
6. Diane (TT) | June 28th, 2008 at 2:54 pm
BCB, your DS’s response sounds very much like that of any of the uninitiated when first truly encountering the CBs.
I went to the Farmer’s Market this a.m., and it was fine. Didn’t make much PC money, but the weather wasn’t bad, and it’s not as if I would’ve made much money if I hadn’t gone! It was terribly windy, though - things kept blowing over. Not just paper - things like cup measures full of enamel spreaders and a box with a wrought iron caddy on it!
LTL, now would be an excellent time for your friend to order your knife for you - or you could just email me with what you want and send me a check. But if you still want to wait and mull it over, that would be fine, too! diane65 AT ecologyfund.net, or my website.
I’m leading the singing at the early service at church tomorrow. This is a frightening new activity involving a MICROPHONE! One of the songs is fairly new to me, while another one freaked me out when we practiced it - on the second line, it goes to a D, and I aimed for an E, because that’s what it does on the FOURTH line, and the shocking dissonance that resulted have made me paranoid about the whole song, which I DO know. Hmph. Oh, well, it’ll all be over in 24 hours…
The mixed blessing of singing at church is that they’ll probably tell you that you sounded good, whether you did or not!

Last night I was reading a book that I bought at Powells last weekend in which the location of Idaho was discussed. A teenage character kept mixing it up with Ohio and Iowa. The adult grumbled about other adults not even knowing where Idaho was. It made me giggle ’cause thanks to Merry I now know better.
Hard to believe that this time last week we were trying to find CC at the Farmer’s Market in Portland. After walking past the Hung Far Low Chinese restaurant.
I need another CB meet soon…going into…withdrawls…must…have…outrageous laughter…
8. Mary | June 28th, 2008 at 5:13 pm
Egads and little fishies, the things people write on postcards these days.
I should have had a
censoreditor look at them before they went out. Did we ever send the one that simply said “we know where you live”? I was kidding when I suggested that one! I would like to make that perfectly clear.CMS, so long as you know where you are, then you’re doing okay
9. LtL | June 28th, 2008 at 6:34 pm
I have so enjoyed the pictures and narrative and discussion about your good times. Like vitamins for me, a real pick me up. I have a little story about Idaho, too.
TT thanks for reposting your link. My computer has lost its ability to go online. One too many telephone rings, I guess. At first, it could get back on after the phone was hung up, but now it has lost is password, or at least I think that is what’s wrong. So I’m on my friend’s machine. She was at the coast [not the Left Coast–the Bathtub Coast (Galveston)] for a while.
She thinks she wants a mandoline for herself. We’ll take a look after supper.
Rock on, you Wild Cherry Bombs! Yeehaw!
And, if they give you a microphone, it means they really, really like you. Otherwise, they tell you to mouth it.
10. theresa | June 28th, 2008 at 7:12 pm
As far as I know, everyone is home and accounted for except for OH, who is still touring the Great North. Maybe if she’s lucky she’ll encounter Men in Uniforms and will need bail money.
Wait, that doesn’t sound quite right.
CMS - It’s good to know that Moot hasn’t lost her sense of adventure!
11. BCB | June 29th, 2008 at 9:57 am
Please, please tell me you all did not miss the chance to visit The Velveteria while in Portland!
http://www.velveteria.com/index2.htm
They just did a little segment about it on CBS Sunday Morning. LMAO imagining CBs in that place.
I really hate working on the weekend. Why do I never remember that until afterward? Now I have to do all the things I normally do on the weekend in one day instead of two. But I’m tired of “doing” and don’t want to do any more. And I’ve had enough of summer heat, but it’s only the end of June. At least the state is not on fire. Well, okay, part of it is. Those of you out in CA take care.
Off to DO things now.
12. Scope Dope CherryBomb | June 29th, 2008 at 10:28 am
Where is everyone today? Sleeping? How odd. Some of you will be singing in Church too. How goes it Diane? I bet you were spot on wonderful. As I am sure were others who sing in the choir.
13. Scope Dope CherryBomb | June 29th, 2008 at 10:29 am
BTW Ltl what is your story? You didn’t tell us, just that you had one about Idaho. Give forth oh fair maiden..
14. Wapakwoman | June 29th, 2008 at 12:32 pm
Singing is done, High A after a layoff of a couple months….yikes!
Now- going to read magazines, visit with DS2 and DDILWIP2 and possibly declare a nap zone. Things TO DO will wait until tomorrow.
Except for CB checking….that is a continuous job.
Want to hear more about post cards. Who got which one?
15. Lou | June 29th, 2008 at 1:42 pm
Great post, CMS!! I just LOVE that Jenny sign. What a moot!! I’ve been working, sleeping, and catching up on stuff that needed doing here at home.
IIRC, OH is visiting her Godfather. He will then travel with her back down to LA, so we don’t need to worry about her - she is in safe hands (rather than orangehands).
Hope the singing went well, TT. It’s always nerve-wracking to sing with a mic in front of actual people…
Merry, you know how CBs are - always ready to implement suggestions…
Fires still buring here. President declared it a disaster area (our governator asked) which means we will be able to get more help from other states. However, I think they would have to have all 50 states participate to quell these fires. Big Sur is still in jeopardy. Even Esselen (sp?), that retreat that Joan Baez made famous. And they have not banned fireworks, so I expect to stay up until really late patrolling the neighborhood. At least the renters, who set off 2 hours of fireworks in their backyard aren’t here anymore - thank Bob. I also thank Bob that my dogs are not at all upset by the noise.
I wonder if Louis took our
threatwish to visit his porch seriously??16. Scope Dope CherryBomb | June 29th, 2008 at 2:05 pm
Lou-my dog on the other hand, has to be sedated when there are thunderstorms or fireworks and this weekend we have both. We celebrate Canada Day July 1.
Wapak-bet you hit that high A just fine.
I am thinking of changing Wapak’s name to Tinker Bell as she spreads her pixie dust over her show chorus kids and many others to help create wonderful memories. From the little she told us about them she is resident den mother to her kids in the chorus. I have forgotten the name she used.
I still remember my choir director in high school as he seemed to follow me from one city to another. He was so kind and taught us so much about singing properly and about music. He gave us wonderful songs to sing and I have great memories of those times.
Bcb-I loved the story about the post card. I, too, wish to hear more about them. I was there when they were written but can’t remember them. Old brainitis.
17. Mary | June 29th, 2008 at 3:45 pm
Lou, I think that’s completely insane that they haven’t banned fireworks. (Not that that would completely stop people getting them. That’s nuts.) Hope it gets better.
My brother’s house was one block past the mandatory evacuation zone of one of the fires. All the neighbors left. They came home from vacation when the neighbor who’d fed the cats called to say she couldn’t catch them to take them somewhere safe. His house overlooks a canyon; they spent all day on the sun porch watching to see if the flames were going to come over the ridge. (At which point they would have skedaddled, yes with the cats.)
Blessing and safe thoughts to everyone who has nervous animals. Last year I took Tanji down to the park to watch the fireworks. She was the only dog there, so of course she got all the belly rubs that were available. Luckily she was raised around guns, so she’s not fazed by the noises. But I have no doubt the beagles next door will have something to say about the fireworks.
I love the idea of Wapak as Tinker Bell! That just seems fitting somehow. Plus, I believe a tiara comes with the name
18. glamour-geek | June 29th, 2008 at 4:04 pm
Beau’s neighbors set off fireworks in their backyard (which backs to his) last night. Scared me and the orange cat to death. We were both shaking.
Gualala (a town in Mendocino county) was all upset when they were told they couldn’t have fireworks for their whatever number town anniversary celebration. Hello? It is dry as tinder and you could burn the whole darned town down before anyone could come help!!! I don’t know what happened with those protests.
I don’t know why they don’t cut all fireworks displays (except, perhaps those being done over the bay) in the state. Seems crazy to me.
19. Wapakwoman | June 29th, 2008 at 6:07 pm
When hanging out with my choir kids, someones parent would ask”just what do you do for them?” I never knew what to say so I gave myself the title of Director of Enthusiasm and Encouragement!. It seems to cover most things! But, it doe not come with a tirara
Tinker bell flits and spreads magic. I don’t know if my behind is in flitting condition!!!
My mom’s cat used to go into their walk in shower, under the bench, and stay in there and howl during fireworks. We always set them off on the Sand over the lake. Some days she wouldn’t come out for a while, so of course Dad had to shower upstairs and my mom would sit in there with her and bring her food.
I would love to send some of our daily rain to Andi and all you all in CA. Except then the grass wouldn’t grow and DH would go nuts not being able to mow.the.lawn. He lives for it.
Mary I am positive that the Beagles Next Door would not enjoy fireworks. Just a few of the CB’s made them nervous.
DDILWIP2 made dinner tonight. They are off to bring back ice cream. Life is good.
20. Wapakwoman | June 29th, 2008 at 6:11 pm
That would be “DOES” not come…..
21. Louis | June 29th, 2008 at 7:20 pm
I definitely like the pix of the popcorn machine!
Today’s Travel section in the paper had an article on Portland. So I know somewhat of what I missed.
Voodoo Doughnuts was one place mentioned to visit.
Our night blooming cereus cactii are putting on a show for us right now. Counted over 20 blooms last night…they are white and about 8 inches across.
22. CMS | June 29th, 2008 at 7:59 pm
Oh man, we missed VooDoo Donuts! I’m amazed we managed to do as much as we did. Although I still have a bag of wool and crochet hooks for the lesson that never quite got off the ground. We all pulled out :gasp: crafts, but failed to initiate the newbies.
My neighbours across the street are very lucky I didn’t haul my exhausted ass out of bed last night to tell them exactly what I thought of them shooting off fireworks at 1:30 in the morning. It went on for roughly half an hour. Idiots.
As soon as I got home from work today I joined in the search for my friend’s 4 pound chihuahua puppy. A bigger dog scared the two pups last night and they scattered in two different directions.. One was found at 1am the other one is still missing. About 18 people from work were out there in the dark last night searching by the glow of their cell phones because only 3 people thought to grab a flashilight. I think someone may have taken the poor little thing inside. Posters, phone calls and door knocking were engaged today. Tomorrow promises a round of vet visits to post more pictures. Tuesday is the holiday here yet some places are taking tomorrow. It was hard to find people home when we were knocking on doors. Please think positive about us finding her soon. We had wicked lightning storms here today. I remain optimistic.
Louis’ cactus sounds lovely.
23. GatorPerson | June 29th, 2008 at 8:31 pm
About a million years ago, I was about 13, we were sitting around the campfire. My brother, a girl my age, and her brother nearer my brother’s age. There were firecrackers. I had long, curly (permanent) hair. That dufus boy threw a lighted firecracker at me, and it caught in my hair. Burned a scar on my cheek that lasted a few years. Brother did a serious bit of taking-to-task on the boy. So fire crackers can also be personally dangerous.
I do remember a joke he told - mortified little prim and proper me. Did you know Elvis had a twin brother named Enis?
Boo hoo. A week ago was my last night in the PNW.
24. McB | June 29th, 2008 at 8:38 pm
BCB did your DS not even consider why people who need bail money would notify you by POSTCARD? And the answer is, we weren’t in all that much of a hurry. Heh.
CMS - sending positive thoughts northward.
25. K.L. | June 29th, 2008 at 8:53 pm
Some day we are going to horrify BCB’s children by invading her house. They may be the ones to call the cops & have us arrested, thereby needing the bail fund activated. It would be worth it. Heh.
26. Scope Dope CherryBomb | June 29th, 2008 at 9:19 pm
Yeah, Bcb’s house. That would be a nice central location for a full CB meet. What a whack-a-do could be had there. Unless, of course, Louis wants to volunteer his porch with rocking chairs and real live cowboys.
Wapak-I think your behind flits quite nicely. Mary must have had the tiara out getting the stones reset. Or was it Diane who had it last? ‘Fess up girls.
Lou et al in California-stay inside out of that smoke. It is VERY bad for your health. I hope all the fires will die out soon as I am calling for a heavy rain in California.
27. Wapakwoman | June 29th, 2008 at 10:25 pm
Hmmmmm, after CB’s invaded BCB, she decided to up and move so we can’t find her again…. and she hid the children.
MARY- please, you have a great house..don’t leave it yet! We couldn’t even find our way back to the hotel. From Evergreen. sigh……
Hope the little doggie finds its little self back home.
28. Mary | June 29th, 2008 at 11:11 pm
Thanks be to Maytag, it’s starting to work.
The @#$! sellers of the house had fitted @$#%! storm windows such that even lifting the sash until I encountered screen window did not mean that I had encountered outdoor air. Had to do some dismantling, but my handy-dandy-I’m-in-totally-inappropriate-love-with-an-appliance air conditioner has now lowered the temperature in my bedroom from 85 down to a cool 82 degrees. And it’s only 9 p.m.
So there.
Considering it’s 93 in my office, I’m going to make this a brief email. Just wanted to say that I’m so glad that all y’all came /last/ weekend. The weekend before was cold and drizzly, and this weekend is totally hot/sticky/humid/miserable.
Coincidence? I think not. Really, it makes you believe in the Power of the Wand.
29. BCB | June 29th, 2008 at 11:28 pm
Yes, McB, I do realize that being forcibly detained by men in uniform is not a hardship as far as you are concerned. Am I going to explain that to my son? Um, no.
And my children are not easily horrified. They are, after all, MY children.
As soon as I get settled into a new place (and really, I have NO IDEA when that might be, or where) I will invite all of you to come visit me. As long as you all agree to eventually leave. And not take pictures. Really.
Today I cleaned out part of the closet in the guest room. The entire thing was too much for one day. The part that I cleaned had scary things in it and I knew that, so I had been avoiding it. Beads. Fabric swatches. Felt. Glitter. Polyester fiberfill stuffing. No idea how any of that stuff made its way into my domain. Pretty sure it’s a conspiracy. Did you know that if you let little plastic bottles of paint sit in a closet long enough, they dry up and you can just throw them away?
So, one whole bag of craft trash. And it’s raining here again. Life is good.
30. BCB | June 29th, 2008 at 11:47 pm
Ooops. I keep forgetting to say (from the last post) thank you Cary for the heads up about odor free paint. I can tolerate many different smells, but paint is one that guarantees a headache for me. Next time I’ll know to ask for an alternative.
Good luck on the puppy hunt, CMS. I hate knowing that animals are lost and possibly afraid or injured.
31. glamour-geek | June 29th, 2008 at 11:58 pm
There won’t be rain in Calif. til Oct or Nov, no matter how much hoping Scope does, but the good (?) news here is that it was a cold weekend (60s at best) and there’s been a sea breeze, so there’s a lot of fog, the air is more moist and the air quality is much improved in the Bay Area. This is good considering how many people were in San Francisco for Gay Pride, and the cool weather means a lot less sunstroke for the medics to take care of. If the parade had been last weekend when it was HOT (90+) on Saturday…ooof.
It’s not looking good in Big Sur, however, or at the other 1400 (!!!) fires burning in California. The cooler weather assists, but many homes are threatened. Considering there were about 700 fires ALL YEAR last fire season, this year is looking pretty scary.
Except that eventually there will be no more fires because everything will have already burnt!
32. me | June 30th, 2008 at 8:31 am
Great pics, CMS. All this past weekend I was thinking, was it already a week ago I was in Oregon? Where’s the time go? I’ll post some of my pics tonight. Some are the same as CMS’s, but I’ll post the ones that aren’t.
Have we decided on a group photo spot yet?
Everyone in Cali, stay safe.
Off topic: So I got this e-mail from amazon, and I am very confused. Maybe someone here can help?
“Dear Amazon.com Customer,
As someone who has purchased or rated books by Jennifer Crusie, you might like to know that Untitled Crusie #2 will be released on July 1, 2008. You can pre-order yours at a savings of $13.34 by following the link below.”
WTH is Untitled Crusie #2?! Does she have a book out I don’t know about?
33. Mary | June 30th, 2008 at 8:50 am
From the JCF site, Ms. Crusie’s comment:
34. Cary | June 30th, 2008 at 9:57 am
BCB, I wish building management had paid attention. I’m not sure, but I think that it was paint fumes I encountered when I got out of the elevator. I can’t breathe and my head is killing me. Whatever it is, it isn’t pleasant. (Oddly, there aren’t any “Wet Paint” signs. Wonder if it is in the suite next door?)
CMS, please let us know about pup #2. And yes, I’m sure some good samaritan must have seen it and brought it in. Chihuahuas aren’t a dog that should be left to wander the neighborhood. They’re soo small. It would be very easy for an unsuspecting driver to miss seeing it. That’s what I’d be saying under my breath as I did everything in my power to lure it close enough to convince of my friendliness.
Oddly, we haven’t had a lot of fireworks going off early this year, so the boys aren’t getting that “adjustment” period that worked so well for me last year. (By the time the 4th rolled around, they had learned it wasn’t a Big Deal.) This year, I think I’ll close the dog door early and snug them up in my room.
35. me | June 30th, 2008 at 10:56 am
Ah. Thank you Mary.
36. GatorPerson | June 30th, 2008 at 11:07 am
Cary, check out the restrooms. They may have put something really icky down the drains that you need to get away from.
Amazon really does have a reputation for jumping the gun. Advance sales are to their benefit (committed $). I also knew from them first that Sharon Kay Penman’s final novel on Henry II and Eleanor is finished. Sure enough, going to her website confirms it.
That aslde, I have to admire them for their marketing. I’ve answered questions on “have I read, have I bought, etc.” They come up with a list of similar books that I haven’t bought or even heard of. Remarkably, they usually interest me a lot. I have to marvel at their database and expert system that crafts their recommendations for me. I rarely buy anything a company wants me to buy (stubborn, mean, anti-marketing, pinch-penny (no, not her)), but their approach suits me.
Coldwater Creek sales lady was excellent, too. But they bombarded me with emails. I’ll spend $ on books, but not clothes. L. L. Bean is good, too. I’ll buy from them. More my style. Gotta replace my favorite flannel shirt and a cardigan that have holes in them. Like I’ve said before, when I discard clothes, even Good Will doesn’t want them.
37. cbpen | June 30th, 2008 at 11:11 am
The Moot pics are great. I guess the gator found in the Chicago river was someone else.
My apologies to Moot if I maligned her character.
My mom has a cactus blooming (yes, in Indiana, it stays out side all the time). It has big yellow flowers. I think I saw one like it (only as big as a house) in San Antonio.
Off topic: Please send my mom good vibes tomorrow morning (6 am). She has to have another surgery. I didn’t mention it before because they put it off (like the last two times…why do they do that? You aren’t going to get better or stronger in the mean time???? Like the gas crisis, while they are arguing about it taking so many years for this or that to work, while we sit here doing nothing the end moves farther away. Sorry. Two mini rants for the price of one.)
38. Lori | June 30th, 2008 at 11:25 am
Just dropping by to say that if we want to move forward with the private group sharing pictures thing, then we should probably have a separate (on topic?) post about this matter.
I can write something up (unless someone else feels comfortable laying out the options), but I cannot post it (no permission).
Don’t mean to sound terse… just busy.
Let me know.
Thanks.
39. BCB | June 30th, 2008 at 12:15 pm
Oh. Oh. Oh. Pick me. Pick me.
Email it to me and I’ll post it. A post about how to share pictures. The irony is too great to resist.
Plus, if I can figure out how to make it work, anyone can. I’ll even post a trial picture. Hmm. Wrong word. A sample picture.
40. Theresa | June 30th, 2008 at 12:26 pm
They just tested the fire alarm in our new building. Four. Times. cry
41. Lou | June 30th, 2008 at 12:46 pm
If we post about the pictures on the B&G, doesn’t that defeat the purpose of privacy? Would sending a message by email be better???
CMS - oh poor puppy… I sure hope you find it. It could be hiding anywhere it’s so teeny.
cbpen - sending your Mom good vibes.
Mary - it was so kind of you to arrange for good weather last weekend. It was just exactly a week ago when edelweiss and I climbed in the truck and headed back to CA. Because of the I-5 closure, we had to travel city streets to get through Sacramento. I can tell you that Portland is a far more cosmopolitan, beautiful city than Sacramento!! I loved the Portland area!!
gg - you may have had better weather in the Bay Area, but here in the central valley, it was still hot with a lot of smoke in the air. There are definite perks to living near the ocean!! A breeze would be really nice, but I think of the firefighters and the wind spreading the fires, and I think maybe not.
Fireworks - catch 22!! The people who sell the fireworks at the stands are all charities or schools trying to suppliment their income. They had already purchased their supplies for the stands, so if a ban had been enforced, they would have been out a great deal of money, plus they would not have had the income to fund their future events.
42. Theresa | June 30th, 2008 at 12:47 pm
Make that 5 times.
43. Diane (TT) | June 30th, 2008 at 1:06 pm
Louisa - thanks, I got a couple of emails from your friend, to which I responded at great length (as is my wont, I’m afraid!).
My parents found it very hazy in Ashland this weekend - that may be where the CA smoke went! They’re driving south again today.
The singing went fine - I was a bit shaky (physically vibrating! I do that sometimes), but several people said kind things. There were no high As, however - I usually can, but I was just leading the hymns, so, nothing above an E. And I had to get down to the A below middle C, which is about as low as I can go!
I’m outta time!
44. Lori | June 30th, 2008 at 1:07 pm
Lou: No worries. That’s what the potential post is about.
Theresa: ugh.
BCB: I’ll try to get it typed up and send during my lunch break, and you get put it up whenever you are able… tonight? maybe? is that stepping on Me’s toes? ’cause, personally, I’d rather have her post than mine
45. BCB | June 30th, 2008 at 1:14 pm
Sorry, Lou — my brain skipped ahead a few steps. It does that. I think Lori is just going to explain our options.
I’ll wait a few days to post it. Is the schedule a real schedule now? I mean, is it accurate? If so, I’ll just wait for a break in the action. Or something. No toe stepping.
46. me | June 30th, 2008 at 1:29 pm
not stepping on my toes, especially if it’s an on-topic post.
47. McB | June 30th, 2008 at 1:37 pm
GP - I’ve also used Amazon to find out when a new book is coming out. And I know everyone gripes about the reader reviews, but I’ve found that if you average them out and allow for the inevitable whiners it can give you a fair idea of what to expect.
I haven’t even had a chance to download my pictures yet - bad McB. But this weekend for sure and I’ll include any suitable in my post the following weekend.
48. BCB | June 30th, 2008 at 1:42 pm
A post from me about sharing pictures AND it has to be on topic? [sigh] What is this world coming to?

Yes we do have an actual schedule. And we sort of stick to it. Sort of. Well, a schedule is like a rule and you know how well we do with those. Someday we hope to let Lou get a word in edgewise.

Theresa, maybe the fire alarm keeps failing the test and needs to re-take it?
Lou? House prices are falling here too. (Was that too broad a hint?) There are places to board a horse 2 miles from my place. Just thought I’d mention that.
Question: last week at the Meet, everyone said that I was dull. (Well, what they actually said was that my knives were dull, but I know what they meant.
)
How do you sharpen knives? Amazon had a gadget that is supposed to sharpen the blade for you. Anyone try that?
51. Lori | June 30th, 2008 at 2:50 pm
Okay, I sent a email that might contain some kind of post to BCB, and she can do whatever she wants with it. Really.
*deep breath* Back to work!
52. theresa | June 30th, 2008 at 2:54 pm
I finally just left, in fear that the end of the fire alarm testing was not in sight. I was also getting hungry. So my exercise for the day was lugging groceries home because I wasn’t having luck with the bus schedule.
Why yes I’m rambly today.
53. glamour-geek | June 30th, 2008 at 3:04 pm
Mary: (1) sharpening steel (manual, takes work and knowledge of the angle); (2) electric sharpener (works pretty darned well–mine’s a Chef’s Choice 310, $45-90 depending where you get it–Love it, love it, love it!); (3) professional sharpening (costs money every time you need them sharpened).
Good knives should be sharpened regularly. Some would say after every use. If yours are quite dull, I’d recommend a professional sharpening to get the edge back to where it should be before using a steel or an electric sharpener.
I have both electric and a steel, but I never use the steel anymore because it’s way too much work. A better person would get them professionally sharpened once every year, sharpen electrically regularly, and use a steel before or after every use. I am not a better person and get lazy, but I love my electric sharpener!
54. CMS | June 30th, 2008 at 3:05 pm
Merry my single brother sharpens knives quite well whenever he visits. I’m just saying…
Great story about the Internet. Actually a story in progress. Sarah posted a Help find Zoey event on Facebook yesterday. Not to gather searchers so much as to get Zoey’s picture out there. I invited some of my friends to the event for the same reason. One of my coworkers from the library posted to the page last night to tell us he’d seen Zoey at noon. It was the best lead we had. Today we found out that she was spotted in the same place seven hours later. We keep missing her by an hour every time. So we’ve plunked her owner down in the parking lot with some water,a blanket and treats while we try to flush her in that direction. It’s a beautiful park, the site of the old city dump that they’ve worked to naturalize. The flora and fauna have done a fine job of taking over. We’ve seen pheasant, deer, Canada Geese, killdeer and squirrels. One tiny chihuahua continues to elude us. I believe we’ll get her back tonight. Around dusk. Because that’s the pattern the last two nights of her being spotted. Bad sentence structure but cut me slack, this dog rescue stuff is hard work. I’m off to my job at the library. I’m hoping I get the joyous call before I’m finished my shift.
55. McB | June 30th, 2008 at 3:34 pm
Merry - easier to get them sharpened professionally initially so you know it’s done right; then you need only maintain the edge.
Or you could go visit CMS. I’m sure you’ll have no problem getting all those sharp implements past security.
56. Cary | June 30th, 2008 at 3:54 pm
Mary, most grocery stores here offer knife sharpening - call ahead to find out days, hours, how many, and whether they’ll charge you for it.
One tip - your serated knives can’t be sharpened. Those are supposedly “eversharp”, but it is rarely true - (even the really expensive ones wear if you give them a lot of use).
I personally use a sharpening blade/steel just about every time I use a knife. If you buy a good quality knife set, they usually come with. If your set didn’t come with one, you can get them at any kitchen supply store (and probably Target, too).
And I’ve heard a couple (reputable) chefs tell me you can also use the unglazed bottom rim of a stoneware mug or a garden rock in a pinch.
57. Lou | June 30th, 2008 at 4:43 pm
Mary - I believe I saw a horse ranch as I was driving to your place. It looked beautiful (don’t know if that was the boarding place). Bob willing and the creek don’t rise, i should be able to retire this coming February - hopefully. The world then becomes my oyster - so to speak.
BTW - Raley’s (I don’t know if you have them up there) sharpens knives for free for their customers. They limit each customer to 3 knives. Raley’s is affiliated with Bel Air Markets - and there is one more affiliate whose name escapes me at the moment. Anyway, if Raley’s does it their affiliates probably do it also.
I actually have a hand sharpener at home (I got through Publisher’s Clearing House) that does a reasonably decent job. It also sharpens my serrated knife, I just have to be careful and not press too hard.

Okay, so I got Lori’s email. Made no sense whatsoever. But I’m tired. When I got to the part about the scissors and glue gun, my eyes glazed over. Did I mention I’m tired? I’ll see whether I can de-scramble it. Later. Once I find my decoder ring. I looked at the schedule and from what I can tell [I’m really very tired] today and Wed are covered. So I’ll post either Tue or Thu.
One-day weekends should be illegal. Especially if they’re followed by a Monday.
60. GatorPerson | June 30th, 2008 at 6:45 pm
My 2 really good knives are Wusthofs. I use a steel on them every few days. Just 10 scrapes on each side on each knife. Then when they’re a little dull I use my manual Chef’s Choice manual Diamond Hone, 50 back-and-forths on the coarse side, then 50 on the fine side. I probably paid $5-$15 for it. Many $ more for the knives and steel.
I’ve kept them sharp for 10+years. Like someone said, get them sharpened professionally if you can, then do the steel and sharpener number ever after. Also, like someone said, if they’re stainless steel, forget it. I never put them in the dishwasher, just put them in soapy water, rinse, put in the drainer. Purists would dry them, but I might cut myself. The big one has its own plastic sheath, again, to keep me from cutting myself when it’s in the drawer.

**ATTENTION! CB POSTERS WANTED**
Due to technical difficulties beyond my control, no matter how much screaming and swearing I do, I am physically incapable of posting pictures here. My wimpy, crappy dial-up took 10 minutes to pretend it was uploading pictures to the editing screen, then told me “Internet Explorer was unable to link to the web page you requested. The page might be temporarily unavailable.” And I didn’t even know I was linking to a page, I was uploading pictures to WordPress. I tried again, and teh same thing happened. I don’t get it, and after an hour of trying, I QUIT. There was a reason my CB game icon was orange impatiens.
So, if anyone else wants to post pictures of Oregon or anything else, I cede to you.
62. Lori | June 30th, 2008 at 8:00 pm
After reading BCB’s comment about my email not making any sense I had this thought, “Oh goodie! Something new and different for me.”
63. McB | June 30th, 2008 at 8:47 pm
Louis - we figured if you won’t come to the whack, the whack would do its best to come to you!
And CMS you can post the picture provided it’s my good side.
64. Wapakwoman | June 30th, 2008 at 9:03 pm
Dear me*, our dearest Jenny has been trying to upload pictures to Wordpress. It is a new version and has an aversion to pictures. All over the Internet. IT is not just you, me, it’s everyone.
I know you would have liked to have known this prior to starting, but I didn’t know you didn’t know so I couldn’t tell you until now.
So if you can get them to a regular photo file you can email the link to us and we can look at them.
Now,BCB, has your head exploded yet? Who has the tiara for poor sentence structure? Pass it over please!
65. Scope Dope CherryBomb | July 1st, 2008 at 12:28 am
I hope I can do this properly. CMS has asked me to tell you that the search for Zoe, the chihuahua has ended very badly. She got a call just before leaving work to say that Zoe had run away from one of the searchers, up the ramp and onto the highway where she was hit by a car and killed.
There’s more. Three of the searchers, Tracey (driving) Candice and Sarah’s mother drove down to the highway to get the dog. Tracey had her four way flashers on and went slowly to the spot where the dog was. Tracey’s car was hit from behind by a truck. The driver was on his cell phone at the time and told the police he didn’t see Tracey’s car. The car, only one month old, was totaled. it took the truck two hundred yards to stop. But it is Tracey who was charged with careless driving. She had positioned her car over the dog and had slowed to a stop so that Sarah’s mother could get it.
Tracey went to the hospital immediately with her throat cut from the seat belt and pains in her chest, again from the seat belt. She was having difficulty swallowing, apparently from the swelling.. CMS says Tracey’s throat looks more like a welt than any serious cut. No stitches were required.
Candice, on the other hand, came here to get CMS to take her to a movie so she could laugh. (we all had been crying). We convinced her to go to the hospital too as she said her neck hurt a little. The doctor was more concerned about her injury and did neck xrays and diagnosed sprained ligaments in her neck.
Apparently Sarah’s mother was not hurt.
CMS has had to tell this story several times tonight and she is exhausted and very upset. Most of the people that work with her had been out searching for the past three days. We are talking about people who work with animals every day. This has been heartbreaking for them.

That is really a tragedy.
I’m going to go hug my puppy.
72. CMS | July 1st, 2008 at 10:32 am
Thanks for all the hugs. I wore my Cherrybomb shirt yesterday during the search and it made Sarah smile. As badly as it ended it could have been worse. Sarah’s mom was on foot not in a car. No, she shouldn’t have been running across the highway but she was upset, had not slept in three days and was just trying to get Zoey’s body off the road. The driver of the pickup freely admitted he wasn’t watching the road at all so it’s very good thing Tracey’s car was there instead of Sarah’s mom. We were so close to having her safely in Sarah’s arms but someone who didn’t know the pup was terrified chased her and she simply ran the wrong way. No one’s fault.
It’s tragic. We’re exhausted and heartbroken but we’ve all gained a great deal of respect, admiration and affection for each other. It’s put a lot of work politics into perspective, and blown company policy out the window as managers and associates are not supposed to fraternize.
I checked wordpress and didn’t see a way to upload a pdf. Perhaps as a picture link???It wouldn’t hurt to try. I found another picture from last weekend that I want to add to this post so I could try the pdf for Cary. I’m probably going to be hanging around the house today. I’m not sure I have the energy for fireworks or Canada Day celebrations. I can be quietly proud of my citizenship from here. with my dog. Candice and I rented/bought nine movies last night in the quest for something to distract us. Be kind Rewind made us laugh a couple of times. 8 more to go

SF Chronicle reports that the fine for not using a hands-free in CA is only $20, plus $56 in “administrative fees” for first offense. $50 plus fees for second, etc. I wish it were $500 so people would actually be concerned about getting caught, but the cell phone manufacturers fought this one like crazy and had the meat taken out. People commenting on the article are already saying they’ll just throw their phones in their laps if they see a cop, rather than obeying the law!
I would very much like to not be afraid of being mowed down by people on cell phones on the freeways or in parking lots. It’s a bit scary. I can actually predict if people are on phones based on the way they are driving.
That said, doesn’t look like anyone’s going to push for much in the way of enforcement on this. I wish they would. Means I can’t use my phone to tell beau if I’m in traffic on the bridge and running late, but That’s OK by me* if it means fewer crazy drivers! He can wait 10 extra minutes, really.
Sorry, end of rant. I was hoping the fines were going to be HIGH on this one.
79. McB | July 1st, 2008 at 11:45 am
You know, I don’t even like it when the phones are hands-free. Because the real issue isn’t how many hands are on the steering wheel, it’s how much of a person’s attention is on the road. Most of us who have cell phones have at one time or another needed to make or receive a call. Things happen. But to make a habit of chatting on the phone while driving is just a bad idea. Then again, I’m not much of a phone person so maybe I just don’t get it.
80. glamour-geek | July 1st, 2008 at 11:52 am
On a completely different and happier topic, beau and I went to see Wall*E last night.
VERY sweet. Though it’s a bit sad WRT the image of what happens to the planet and humans, it’s Pixar so it’s a happy ending (yay!). The best part is the beginning where you get to know Wall*E. The ending’s a bit lame, but that’s ok. It is, as a review beau read said, 45 minutes of brilliance mixed in with the rest. But overall very good and we were glad to go see it. There are some quite funny bits, endearing characters (the best being Wall*E himself) and, of course, great animation. I recommend it, especially if you need a good laugh.
Apparently the hate-mongering branch of the religious right is saying it’s sinister, evil and bad. I think they just don’t know how to laugh because it’s sweet, and the two messages are that there is always hope and that love comes in packages you don’t always expect to find them in. Also that people and machines can overcome their limitations to do wonderful things sometimes. What’s evil about that?
81. K.L. | July 1st, 2008 at 12:05 pm
The hands free phone thing goes into effect here in Washington State today also. Unfortunately it is a secondary offense here, so you would have to get pulled over for something else first. I don’t kow what the fine is, but probably not that high.
But the big distraction is the actual conversation, not the use of the hands. Apparently, the difference between the phone and a conversation with someone in the car is that both people in the car are reacting to the same external situation, and conversations naturally pause to let the traffic situation get resolved. A person on the phone just keeps talking.
I also think that there is probably a difference in how the brain deals with phone calls versus in-person conversations, but that is just my theory.
82. Cary | July 1st, 2008 at 12:42 pm
Uh, KL, despite the fact it is a secondary offense, it is a costly one. Somewhere north of $200 in fines. ($260?)
And CMS, the file is at home. Which is why Wapak doesn’t yet have her lovely photo. I keep forgetting it is one the home computer instead of the Evil Empire PC at the office.
(Don’t mind me, I’m just having having issues with Office and add-ins today.)
83. me | July 1st, 2008 at 12:57 pm
I saw WALL-E and LOVED it (I demand it win the best animated picture oscar, if not out-and-out best picture), but I am trying to figure out why anyone would have a problem with it. Are the religious rights pro-destroying the earth? Anti-robot? I don’t get it.
84. Diane (TT) | July 1st, 2008 at 1:09 pm
CMS, I’m so sorry about Zoey and her family’s tragedy!
The other thing about the CA cell ‘phone law, is that it’s still OK for adults to text while they’re driving. Not teenagers, though. It’s INSANE that people DO that! I was hit (in my car) by a kid talking on the phone while riding a bike. People are nuts.
The division of attention is certainly major, but attempting to drive one-handed while holding a phone almost certainly divides the attention MORE than just the conversational part. I think that, at least technically, one isn’t supposed to eat or drink while driving in CA (I remember that from 25 years ago or more) - but no one enforces that.
OK, so I’m taking the low-paying, but I hope, useful and interesting job. I hope that, as an opportunity to look into more “dream job” directions, this works out better than the last one (which was an insane amount of work, especially for the amount of money).
Pampered Chef has, of course, a knife sharpener - the sort of thing that is a double-sided steel that one draws the blade through. Easier to work than the steel that goes in your knife block. I have one of those Chef’s’ Choice Diamond Hone things, too - a gift from my dad. Which is what I mostly use, when I get around to getting it down. I think the BEST sharpening comes from taking your knives to a knife store, but that whole getting around to it thing is a serious barrier. You probably know yourself best - what you want in terms of space and the extent to which you’re apt to do what is basically daily maintenence, versus a slightly more time-consuming but far less frequent sharpening. I’m pretty sure it takes me 5-10 minutes to do all of my knives (or maybe even less) - but I have to get the sharpener down out of the cupboard, so my knives are probably often not as sharp as they should be, either!
85. glamour-geek | July 1st, 2008 at 1:11 pm
Me: I’m guessing it’s about the use of the name Eve with regard to plants and life. Possibly something about profaning Genesis. I don’t agree. I think it’s a lovely little story of hope and love and determination.
And Wall*E is such a compelling character.
One of the (many) delights of this movie is that there’s very little dialog…the director or someone said it was in the genre of Charlie Chaplin and Buster Keaton because it’s all about action and expressiveness. I was very impressed at how expressive they could make Wall*E with only his gestures and angle of his “eyes” and ditto for eve just changing the shape of her eyes (which are blue circles that change shape for different moods). Also how much meaning they could pack into Eve just saying “Wall*E!” in different tones of voice.
So everyone go see this sweet little movie. Me and I (that just sounds disturbing) insist!
86. Lou | July 1st, 2008 at 1:24 pm
Oh, CMS, I am so, so sorry about Zoey and your friend. That is incredibly sad for everyone involved.
Yes, it’s still O.K. to text. WTF??? Looking down while punching keys is somehow better than talking with your eyes (hopefully) on the road??? The world (or at least my part of it) has gone crazy!!
Diane - do you have to relocate??
87. McB | July 1st, 2008 at 1:26 pm
K.L. - I agree that phone conversations require more attention than face-to-face conversations. And not just cell phones. When it’s just a voice in your ear, it’s easier to become distracted by your environment. Which means that sustaining a telephone conversation requires more focus than an in-person conversation. Eating and drinking are more instinctive - that’s not quite the right word - so, unless you drop something in your lap, the same attention is not required.
88. BCB | July 1st, 2008 at 1:28 pm
I definitely have to go see Wall*E. Could use a good light hearted laugh.
And I don’t like to talk on the cell phone and drive because I find I have trouble paying attention to the phone conversation. It’s as if my kids know this and purposely call me when I’m driving to ask favors of me. I agree without even knowing what the heck they asked. So I try to pull over if I have to take a call. Much less expensive that way.
It’s so nice not having my boss here. Just had to say that.

I agree. We dont’ see either of them here often enough.
Re the movie, I haven’t seen it but it doesn’t surprise me that someone has found cause to object to it. Somewhere out there, there is probably a group that objects to sliced bread. Some people just go looking for an excuse to be righteously indignant.
92. Diane (TT) | July 1st, 2008 at 2:22 pm
Lou - well, yes, I will be moving. Which is something I’m both dreading and looking forward to! Moving sucks. But I will be so glad to leave the land of the strip mall (not that there won’t be strip malls there, I’m sure, but there can’t possibly be so many of them!). I’m sure that there will be a whole new range of downsides and benefits, and I will definitely miss being so close to Chicago. Prairie is not my favorite (I’m definitely for protecting and restoring, it, but I’d rather walk in the woods any day!), and the immensity of this metropolitan area daunts me.
So, yeah - there will be relocation challenges. On a positive note, I will be able to access my other computer/ email for a week, and get all of those contacts that got shut down when they turned me off. IT said it was an HR issue (after ignoring my requests for a week ’til I went and stood in the office again), and so I went to HR, who got me a brief window of usefulness, so that I can reassure people that I still exist, and let them know how they can contact me in future.
And it’ll be easier to look for a place to live when I’m not limited to 2 hours of computer time a day at the library!
93. BCB | July 1st, 2008 at 2:40 pm
Diane, you are making us pull teeth. WHERE ARE YOU GOING?! Sheesh, woman.
94. Diane (TT) | July 1st, 2008 at 3:04 pm
Weird. When I refreshed, my answer to BCB’s subtle questioning vanished. And I’m almost out of library computer time.
But it will not be necessary to get out the pliers. Having been to the dentist twice recently, and looking at a couple more visits, I have NO INTEREST in having more painful work done.
I don’t know exactly where I’m going, as I haven’t a place to live. But the job is in southeast Ohio, well south of Wapak, but not all the way to Cincinnati. I dunno if that’s going to mean I’m in driving distance to a signing when D&G comes out, but there oughtta be a CB meet possible somehow!
I’ve emailed a few people about possible houses available, and will see what else I can scrape up in the next few days - I’ll probably head out on Sunday. I’ve got a doctor’s appointment on Thursday, Farmer’s Market on Saturday, and church Sunday early - and back to the dentist next Wednesday, so the beginning of the week would give me a day or two to run out there - it’s only about 5 1/2 hours from here, so, while it’s not a DAY trip, it’s definitely possible to visit a fair amount in a short time..
And get some of the accumulating audiobooks listened to!
95. BCB | July 1st, 2008 at 3:07 pm
Well, thank you! And yes, I am very subtle. *snort* So you’ll be 5-1/2 hours closer to me (no, not her, wrong direction I think). I like knowing where everyone is located. Makes it easier to avoid you all. [grin]
96. btuda | July 1st, 2008 at 5:24 pm
BCB: This is for you. Hi there!
It’s been a tense last few days. We got one of those ominous emails saying there was a teleconference first thing in the morning about the state of the company and the financial world we now live in. Yikes! There have been rumors for months that our bank is being sold again, so there was every possibility that was it. Turns out we are not merging (yet) but we did have a round of lay-offs. Fortunately, my department was not impacted — this time. I think I was more stressed afterwards. I remember thinking, “Did I just get canned and no one has gotten around to telling me yet?” Luckily my job is safe for now. Yay!
CMS: ((hugs))
I am so looking forward to this three day weekend — even if I only get two days off on it!
Love the Adventures of Moot! I’m trying to check in more often. Really!

Wow, it’s like magic. Hi there, back atcha! Glad you’re not fired.
Well, I got home to find Lori has sent me another set of picture instructions. It’s even more convoluted and confusing than the first one. So after I decipher it all, I’ll be back. Maybe a glass or two of wine would help . . . or if I held the email upside down . . . and backwards . . .
You all just be patient. This may take a while.

I, for one, believe that sliced bread is just one more sign of how far modern society has fallen. Bread so devoid of nutrients that vitamins must be added? Pre-sliced for “convenience”? Exactly how much time do you think George Washington “wasted” slicing his (much heartier) bread?
If society wants to “improve” bread, they should focus on getting rid of the crusts. No more unsightly, sexually suggestive “heels”!

And no, I will NOT be exposing my tender children to the blasphemous message imbedded in Pixar’s “Wall*E”. For shame!!!
100. Lori | July 1st, 2008 at 6:14 pm
Nope. The new email may be just as convoluted and confusing, but I refuse to believe it is possible to be MORE convoluted and confusing than the first one. So there.

Of course, my tender children are hairy and shed a lot, and the public generally fails to appreciate their gently boisterous public demeanor, so that might have something to do with their not seeing Wall*E… along with the rising cost of movie tickets and the gas to get you to the theatre.
I’m saving for Batman.

Oh CMS- (hugs))) to all. lots of Poor babies also.
BCB- you are magic. I met you for real. I know.
btuda! so happy that you stopped by. (hugs) to you, too
Diane- for the Love of BOB, tell me the town…I will be there to welcome you or help you move or something. When do you come to Ohio? wright1@bright.net is where you can find me.
Louis, as Mary said, you don’t organize a CB meet, you experience it.
KL. Cary, GG- I admit it….I talk on the cell phone ALL THE TIME while I am driving. I get so much done while just driving. Though I do live in the middle of no where. I am going to get the built in talk thing in my next car so I have all my hands for driving. Texting is too hard. Lord knows I’ve done it, but it is scary.
Lori- Fleetwood is obviously not relating well to BCB. Maybe if it was delivered by a guy on a motorcycle.
Me*- DS2 and DDILWIP2 just left to go see WALL E. They love those kind of movies.
Mary- if the animal you have is a puppy, you MAY need a bigger house. just sayin’
MAX!’s parents called me this morning and they found out today that
MAX! is having a BABY SISTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! in November!
The first girl baby in 75 years in the family. DDILWIP1 asked the Doctor to do the ultrasound twice so that she could really really see for herself that there were girl parts and not boy parts. And the first thing she said to me:”Remember, this isn’t going to be a princess girl.” I am on the look out for camo in pink….
..
DDILWIP2 said she would like to have a princess girl. But not a princess boy which made us all rest a bit easier.
Sorted through lots of misc piles today. Those that have been tucked “back there”. Stuff from last August….sigh…during the beginning of the school levy stuff. The elves are on a roll.

I just love those sexy heels of bread, Cary.
To whomsoever bought the eye glass screwdriver kit for me, (I think it was Pam maybe) THANK YOU VERY MUCH. I have used that four times since I’ve been home. I think I will use KL’s suggestion and put clear nail polish on the screw. I hate these frames. They always loosen and the lens falls out.
K.L. is full of little helpful hints. She should write a book.
Gee, you people are wonderful.

BTW welcome back Btuda. We have missed you. Glad you still have your job.
Andi-it is your turn to check in. Oh Aaaaandi! she hollered.

The Cherrybomb Guide to Taking Over the World??
Which reminds me that last week upon arrival back to Reality after the Gathering of the Whack, we saw a truck that had Cherrybombs - disturbing the peace since 1985 written on the side. I thought we only formed in 2006?
106. Mary | July 1st, 2008 at 7:01 pm
But we started causing a ruckus way back when.
Either that or Andi got the time machine fixed. Wasn’t she the one who was supposed to be working on it?
(See, BCB? That’s being subtle. If people are going to lurk, shirk, or work, they’re gonna get talked about.
)
Speaking of which, it’s back to work now. Wah
107. WonderBread | July 1st, 2008 at 7:20 pm
ooh, heels *wiggles eyebrows suggestively*
Hey Btuda!
108. Mary | July 1st, 2008 at 7:37 pm
And I have one thing to say to CMS and Scope:
Ohhhhhh CANNNNNNAdaaaaaaaa…
[No, that wasn’t a cow trying to yodel.]
Happy Canada Day
