Glamour
Glamour Portrait Session - $250
You can expect 25 previews of the best images of the day and 1 8×10 image of your choice. Additional prints can be ordered at regular prices.
While there are many styles of Glamour, which we’ll discuss shortly, the main difference between a Glamour session and a normal Portrait session is the addition of hair and makeup styling. The basic package here covers up to two and a half hours for the session. Usually, the session won’t require that much time, but the time is set aside for you in order to allow for hair, makeup, and shooting at a leisurely and comfortable pace.
Most photographers consider a “look” to be a wardrobe change. I consider it to be a hair and makeup change. For that reason, you may change outfits as often as you like for no charge, but each additional hair and makeup change will require an additional $50 fee. The only other fees you might encounter would be for significant travel (over 50 miles), or for location rental (if you wanted to use a Bed & Breakfast as a location, for instance).
If you would like to make a day of it, longer sessions can be booked for $100 each additional hour. You would recieve 10 additional preview prints for each additional hour.
Regardless of your motivations for the shoot, the most important result is for you to feel good about yourself.
There are many possibilities here, from a simple portrait session with professional hair and makeup help, to something a bit more romantic, or sensual, or artistic. For this reason, pre-shoot communication is extremely important so that both you and I know what to expect from the shoot.
Your wardrobe should be something you love to wear and something you are comfortable with. Whether you are fully dressed as Mindy is in this first image, wearing some special lingerie like Amy Leigh, or nude as seen in the final two images here, the key is to be comfortable and to enjoy the process of creating the images.
