Modeling Portfolio Session - $500

 

With a Modeling Portfolio session you get 6 hours with up to 3 professional hair and makeup styling changes and unlimited wardrobe changes.  The session can be in studio, on location (or even multiple locations), or a mix of both.  You will receive 200 preview prints of the best images of the day (or a CD containing 200 digital images at 400×600 pixels), and 6 8×10 prints of your choice of images (other sizes are available if you prefer).

 

For an additional $100 fee, an edited video of up to 8 minutes can be created in either DVD or Windows Media format.  This video can contain some or all of your still images, video images of your session, or a combination of both.

 

If you can’t afford a full session consider booking a Glamour Portrait session or, if you are able to do your own hair and makeup, an Individual Portrait session and just tell me that you need it for modeling.  We can then work out the details from there.  Also, with exceptional images, I may offer a free 8×10 in exchange for permission to use the image here on this website.

 

If you are not at least 18, you must have a parent or guardian present at the shoot at all times.  I treat this differently than Senior Portraits because it is.  Modeling often entails a more sophisticated look that is not necessarily appropriate for a minor.  I have to ensure that your parents know without a doubt that I am treating you with respect and not pushing the boundaries too far.  There are images I will not do for you (even if your parents agree).  Lingerie, topless, nude, ”implied” nude/topless, and even some fully clothed poses will be off limits.  While I am willing to shoot swimwear, I will not shoot Maxim-style calendar images until you’ve reached the age of 18.

 

Regardless of your age, communication is important during our pre-shoot discussions.  You’re spending a lot of money and I am spending a lot of time (and not just the day of the shoot either).  We need to be sure that the session we end up with meets your needs.

 

When brainstorming for ideas, don’t be afraid to go a little radical with your clothing or makeup.  You want to show your versatility.  If you are more comfortable collaborating for ideas, I will be happy to sit down with you over coffee so we can brainstorm together.  I also have an extensive collection of images torn from magazines and books that we can look through.
